5' Wide Single Axle Trailer Plans |
Our five foot wide single axle trailer plans are part of our "Easy Build" group of trailer plans. These plans give you the option of building your trailer from a trailer kit, we give you all the info and phone numbers you need to get your trailer kit at a great price if you choose. Using the trailer kit to build your trailer is an option but is not necessary to build your trailer from these plans. These plans come with the complete step by step instructions and materials list as well as the plans for the 4' ramp gate.
5' Wide Single Axle Trailer Plans
We have two 5' wide single axle trailer plans to choose from. Both sets of plans can use the trailer kit described below if you should choose to use it.
We have 5 x 8 and 5 x 10 Single Axle Trailer Plans. Both plans come with the instructions for building the ramp gate as well as the 2' mesh sides.

The description below is for both the 5' x 8' and the 5' x 10' single axle trailer plans as the only difference in the two trailer plans is that one is 8' long and one is 10' long. They both come with instructions for the 2' sides and 4' ramp gate and they both use the same size axle etc.

These are very nice, super easy to build trailers. The 5' x 8' and 5' x 10' single axle trailer plans come with instructions for building the 2' mesh sides and the 4' ramp gate as well as angle iron ramps in case you should want them.
Both of these trailers will have a GVWR of 3500# with the use of a 3500# axle. We give you the information you need to purchase the axle, but you can choose the type of axle you wish to purchase. You can use a different (lower) rated axle if you wish, just remember if you use a 2000 lb axle then the GVWR of the trailer would only be 2000 lbs.
We found what looks to be a really good deal on a single axle trailer parts kit and we included the information in the plans, but you are under no obligation to purchase the kit to build with these plans. The only reason we added the info for the kit is because we believe it to be a really good deal and we wanted to pass it on to you in case it might help you save money.

And the shipping fees are very reasonable, the company is located on the eastern half of the U.S. so if you live on the east coast shipping is less and if you live on the west coast shipping is a little more but still not bad for all that they are shipping to you.
