The 6 foot wide trailer plans are from our new "Easy Build" group of trailer plans.
Our 6 foot wide single axle utility trailer plans have a GVWR of 3500# with the use of one 3500# axle. The plans include the step by step instructions and materials list to build the trailer as well as the instructions for building the 4' ramp gate. The plans also include optional instructions for building angle iron ramps in case you should want them. The plans also include optional instructions for building the trailer with a dovetail. As stated, building the trailer with the dovetail is optional and not necessary. Our 6 foot wide trailer plans also come with several free bonus files such as free electric brakes installation with step by step instructions with images showing you how to install electric trailer brakes. Electric brakes are usually not necessary, but it is always good to have the information in case you do ever need it. Plus you get a free list of parts and materials suppliers and a free file with tips and info on welding and trailer building. The plans also include the instructions for the 2' wood plank sides. It is not required that you build the 2' sides on your trailer since the side rails have no effect on the structural integrity of the trailer, so if you want to build the 6' wide trailer but you do not want the 2' sides,that is fine you do not have to have them. This is a very easy to build trailer constructed of angle iron and tube steel for a very sturdy frame and a 3" channel steel A-Frame Tongue. You are offered the option of using one of several 3500# axle suspension kits or you can acquire all the parts on your own, you will build the trailer the same either way. All of our plans are digitally delivered so you will have your plans and other files right after your paypal payment is completed. With over 25 pages of instructions plus the file for building the ramp gate and other extra free files you get, you will have this trailer on the road in no time. |
