Our 7 foot wide trailer plans have become very popular because they are a good sturdy trailer, easy to build and with two 3500# axles they have a GVWR of 7000# which is usually plenty for most folks.
All of our trailer plans come with several free bonus files including one with the step by step instructions and photos for installing electric brakes. All of our 7' wide trailer plans also come with the plans and instructions for building the 4 foot ramp gate. Our 7 foot wide trailer plans are constructed with angle iron and tube steel and have a GVWR of 7000# with the use of two 3500# axles. If you choose to use axles with a lighter weight rating such as 2000#, you would need to adjust your GVWR accordingly, in this example if you used two 2000# axles your GVWR would be 4000#. The frame is constructed for a 7000# GVWR, so even if you get heavier weight axles it will not increase the GVWR of this trailer. The 7 foot wide tandem trailers built from our plans will have an actual deck size of 82" wide and the over all width including the fenders will be a little over 7' wide. Our 7' wide trailers are constructed with angle iron and tube steel for a very sturdy trailer frame. All of our trailer plans come with complete building instructions and materials list. All of our 7' wide trailer plans contain over 40 pages. As with all of our trailer plans, with your purchase you will also get several valuable free bonus files like a file with complete instructions and images for installing electric brakes.
